Over the years the main players in Sinosource have sourced for a number of manufacturing sectors.

Raw materials examples include paper/packaging, paint and metals.

Sub-assemblies and components include plastic mouldings and stamped, die cast and turned parts and PCB's.

Finished products include ranges of small appliances, lighting, electric motors, bus signs, office supplies, golfing equipment and artists' materials.

Sinosource has also advised many companies on the internal changes that need to be considered when souring components and products from China.

Below are a few specific examples of assignments undertaken:

	UK based branded consumer product Sinosource found a suitable Chinese manufacturer and assisted with the drawings and specifications to get this electrical product to market. The company has been transformed and is increasing its product range with Sinosource's help.
	French based branded consumer product - feasibility study This company was considering the manufacture of a particular product in China. Sinosource carried out an extensive design and manufacturing feasibility study of the product to be sourced from China. In this particular instance Sinosource demonstrated that the project was not worth progressing at this stage thus saving the company much time and money.
	Recreational product company This UK based company had a problem with a range of bespoke luggage in that the cost was high and quality low. Sinosource found a supplier in China that had much higher quality with lower unit and development costs.
	Fine Art Printer Quality paper sourced for production of fine art catalogues. Over 30% saving achieved on the UK price.
	Sign Maker Involving LED and PCB manufacture. Client already sourcing product from China and experiencing serious quality and supply problems. Resourced to new Chinese manufacturer with the added benefit of a further cost saving of 20%
	Volume Industrial Equipment Manufacturer Sourced Chinese supply of volume turned parts with high tolerances. Savings of over 30% on UK in house cost.
	Multinational branded consumer product company This company had a policy of moving away from in house manufacture to outsourcing. Sinosource through a series of presentations explained the changes and disciplines that the company needed to adopt when buying from outside (Chinese) suppliers.
	Telecommunication protection This UK company received a large order which its UK based supplier could not meet. Sinosource very quickly found a supplier in China who not only could meet the deadlines but was cheaper and of higher quality.
